She was 78 years old and had made her home in Lowell for about eleven years. Mrs. Ray was a faithful member of the Lowell Methodist church, a loving mother, and a friend to everyone she met. Her husband preceded her in death by eight months. She is survived by four daughters, Misses Alice and Nellie Ray, of Lowell; Mrs. Annie Sewell, Lineville: and Mrs. Holley Davis, and three sons; Mr. William Ray, LaGrange; Mr. Wiley Ray, Lineville; Mr. Ernest Ray, Lowell. Funeral services were conducted at Concord, Clay County, Monday, with Reverend L. G. Lankford in charge.
