Ashland Progress
James M. Reagan, aged 54 years, died near Mellow Valley; Thursday, October 17. 
He was reared in Clay County, but later moved to Georgia and resided there 
several years. He had been in bad health for a long while and came back to this 
county just a short time before his death. He is survived by five sons and one 
daughter, viz: Obey, Heflin, Oliver, Bruce and Max Reagan and Mrs. Roy Patterson 
all of Viena Ga., His wife also survives him. He was a man of agreeable 
disposition, loved his home and family and they will miss his good council and 
advice. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon October 18, by S.C. 
Ray, interment was in Wesobulga cemetery.
