Again, the messenger death has come on the 18th day of July 1896 and invaded the 
home circle of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Reams near Elias and cast over it the mantle 
of sorrow and solitude by bearing away their precious little Thomas Reginald. 
Only a few months old. The dark cloud, gloom and distress had visited their home 
by the afflicting hand of death and carried away little Tava their oldest 
daughter bright beautiful child of three or four summers, and now Littie Reggie 
their precious darling babe of only 10 months and elevens days.......
