T. M. REAVES Mrs. Thomas M. Reaves, 78, died at the home here early Wednesday after an illness of more than a year. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 11 o'clock Thursday, the Rev. F.J. Ingram, a former pastor, officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery with Owens Funeral Home directing. A native of Clay county, Mrs. Reaves was Miss Dicie E. Hardy before her marriage 60 years ago. Soon after her marriage she and Mr. Reaves moved to Chulafinnee section of Cleburne county where they lived about 20 years. Survivors are the husband Thomas M. Reaves of Heflin; a daughter, Mrs. Chula Griggs of Atlanta; three granddaughters, Mrs. Eugene Cooper of Oxford; Misses Josephine and Dorthy Griggs of Atlanta; three grandsons, Sylvan Landers of Atlanta; Hugh and Fred Reaves of Anniston.
