Clay County Advance
The angel of death passed over Lineville's quiet community and claimed our dear 
friend and brother, W. C. Reeves. He was born April 21st, 1868, and died the 23d 
of November 1895; joined the Baptist Church August 1885, at Alder Springs, Clay 
County was united in the bonds of wedlock with Miss Mattie J. Giffin October 
25th, 1889. The community has lost a most excellent citizen, the Church a devout 
and consecrated member, the parents a loving son, the brothers and sisters a 
precious brother, but especially the wife and children a devoted and loving 
husband and father. To all of whom was extend our most profound sympathy. May 
the God of all grace com fort the bereaved ones with the tweet thought that ii 
they live and die as he, in the blessed assurance of eternal glory, they may 
meet him again in that city whose maker and builder is God
