Funeral services were held Friday for Miss Lizzie Reeves, 81, at the Barfield 
Baptist Church. The Rev. J. R. Steele, former pastor of the Barfield Baptist 
Church, and the Rev. Clyde Latham, officiated with Blair Funeral Home, Lineville, 
in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. Miss Reeves had lived in Clay 
County all her life and had made her home with her nephew Mr. Wyatt Hendrix, for 
the past several years. She died at Mr. Hendrix's home Thursday following a 
prolonged illness. She is survived by a large number of nephews and nieces. 
Pallbearers were: Conrad Graben, Marvin Hendrix, Fred Graben. Thurman Graben, 
Herman Graben and Lenzie Denson.
