Ashland Progress
On March 10, 1920, the Death Angel made a visit to the home of Bro. Ethridge 
Reynolds and claimed as its victim his wife. Mrs. Reynolds was a true and 
obedient daughter to her parents. She was a loving and faithful companion to her 
husband. She was a person who was doing her best to train seven children in the 
right way. She was a woman whom, I believe, was' worthy of the name mother. This 
community in which she has lived has lost one of the most helpful neighbors it 
ever knew. Mt. Gillead church has lost one consecrated member. But we believe 
from her belief, her practice in daily life, that she now rests with the 
ransomed on the shore, where trials will come no more. Friends, relatives and 
loved ones, weep not for "Donie" so dear, but follow her God and to the portals 
of Glory, you He will safely steer She is now. gone, on earth we will see her no 
more; but she is waiting across the river on the golden shore. A FRIEND
