Anniston Star
Mrs. G. W. Rice age 68 died at the residence of her son, O. L. Rice, at 1931 
Front Street at 10 o'clock Thursday morning after an illness of several months. 
She is survived by 13 children. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 
o'clock Friday afternoon from the Cragford Baptist Church, of which she was a 
member. Officiating will be the Rev. C. B. Martin and the Rev. Ben Rice, 
interment will be in Cragford  Cemetery; directed, by Usrey. Surviving are seven 
sons, J. L. and. G. L. of Anniston, T. L. Lineville N. L. Wedowee; Y. N. Dawson; 
M. K. Anderson, and O. H. Cragford; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Fitnure, Mrs. Eugie 
Waldrep, Mrs. Lula Walker and Mrs. Verdie Mason, Cragford, and Mrs. Martha 
Rowell and Miss Ollie Rice, Bremen, Ga.; three brothers, Yance C., Jay, Fla., 
Murrell, Boaz, and Ellis, Heflin, and a sister, Mrs. A. Edwards of Texas.
