The Rev. Dave Craft and the Rev. Robert T. S. Anderson officiated. Interment was in the new cemetery in Lineville. Mr. Rice died at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chesley Heath where he had resided for the past several weeks Mr. Rice was born in Randolph County where he had lived most of his life. He had farmed most of his life, He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Wolfe Rice, Ashland, Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Lula McDonald, Delta, Mrs. Mae Nix, Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers. Mr. Graver Rice, Lineville, Mr. Luther Rice, Wedowee; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Dock Rice, Delta. Active pallbearers were A. B. White, Harold Rice, Tommy Smelley, Wilmer Luker, Brinton East, Carl New, Willard Fuller and Lon Ingram. Honorary pallbearers were J. O. McCain, Roy Boak, O. D. Seymour, John Camp, Winford W.
