Ashland Progress
Mrs. Tamacia Richardson, 78-year-old resident of Lineville died at her home last 
Thursday after being ill three years. Mrs. Richardson was born in Chambers 
County. She married when she was 14 years old, joined the Church of Christ at 
Liberty the same year. She is the mother of twelve children. Funeral services 
were held at Mt. Moriah near Delta last Friday afternoon with Rev. Wiley 
Sprayberry conducting and White Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were N. W. 
Chapman, R. J. Latham, W. O. Luker, Pascal Phillips, B. C. Neal and J. J. Gray. 
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Verona Johnson, Fort Payne; Mrs. Sentilla 
Preston, Dublin, Mrs. Dillie Gay Johnson, Delta; Mrs. Levis Ingram, 
Harpersville, Mrs. Loree Brooks, Lineville; and two sons Hugh Richardson of 
Millerville and Fay Richardson of Gadsden. There are several grandchildren 
surviving.
