Clay County Advanced 
Mrs. Idora C. Riddle was born Dec. 31, 1865, at Delta Clay Co., Ala., and died 
Sept. 13th, 1893, at Ashland Ala., 12 o'clock p.m.  She was married June 23rd, 
1883, to Mr. J.H. Riddle at her father's, Dr. W. O. Jenkins, Lineville Ala., by 
Rev. W.T. Davis.  On August 13th, 1885, she united with the Baptist church at 
Bethel and was baptized by Rev. W.T. Davis. She was one of the Vice Presidents of 
the Woman's Mission and Aid Society in the State, acting in the Carey Association 
from 1888 to 1890 when she resigned on account of ill health..........
