Ashland Progress
The body of J. B. Riddle, Jr., who died of pneumonia at his home, Montezuma, Ga., 
last Saturday, was brought back to his old home community for burial and was laid 
to rest in Lystra cemetery Sunday at 11 a. m. He was 41 years of age and left a 
family consisting of a wife, two sons and a daughter. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
J. B. Riddle, and five brothers, D. V., Sam, and Bennett, of Ashland, Wiley and 
Trice of Montezuma, Ga., also three sisters, Miss Willie Maude of Ashland, Mrs. 
M. O. Johnston and Mrs. W. H. Hodnett of Florida, also survive him. The family of 
the deceased wish to extend their thanks to all their friends for kindness and 
sympathy so freely shown them during their bereavement.
