Ashland Progress 
Mrs. Amanda Elizabeth Roberts, age 82, died at her home in the Bowden Grove 
community last Saturday. Funeral services were held at Poplar Springs church on 
Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. L. Ingram. The deceased is survived by 
four sons. Interment was in the Poplar Springs cemetery, Blair directing.

Additional Comments:
Note: Family Sources say, "At one time this grave had a marker, but the grave of 
Amanda E. Roberts & her husband was destroyed".
