Knight Feb. 6th, 1872, and departed this life January 18, 1912, age 64 years and 19 days. To this union were born eleven children, nine girls and two boys. Brother Roberts was a kind husband and a kind and affectionate father, but God in his wisdom saw fit to call from this time world to eternity. His funeral was conducted by Rev. Hawkins, after which he was deposited in the Wesobulga cemetery to await the resurrection. Brother Roberts was a member of the M.E. Church at Wesobulga. He loved his church and was a devoted Christian and a loyal member of our local union No 1868 of the F. E. and C. U. of A. He was a man who always looked for the right and discouraged the wrong. We bow in humble submission to the will of him who doeth all things well. To the dear companion and children, we would say when you look upon, his garments in the home rejoice to know that your Heavenly Father hath clothed him with Heavenly garment pure! and white. Whan you would wish, to have jour loving husband and kind father with you again remember that he has a house not made with hands eternal in the Heavens. Prepare to meet him when you too shall have past from time to eternity. A precious one from us is gone. A voice we loved still, A place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. T. N.
