Ashland Progress
Whereas, it has pleased the Supreme Grand Architect of the universe to call from 
our midst our friend and brother, W. M. Robertson, who departed this life on 
September 23, 1928, being 96 1/2 years old. Altho, we must submit to the will of 
the giver of all good gifts, we realize there has been taken from the bounds of 
our honored and sacred circle, a man who has in his prime, been very useful to 
the workings of our aged Fraternity in that he was a faithful member of Weathers 
Lodge No. 390. Brother Robertson was for many years an official of our lodge and 
when conditions would permit was unfailingly at his post faithfully performing 
his duties as becometh all true Masons. Be it resolved that we as brethren 
deeply feel his going from among us, and honor and cherish his memory, and admit 
that under conditions as a pioneer here, we sincerely and truly believe he, as a 
Mason and respected citizen, did his best. Be it further resolved that we 
commend his bereaved family to him who through his infinite and divine love is 
wholly able to obliterate and banish all sorrow, heartache and pain. Be it 
resolved that a copy of this be sent the bereaved family of our departed
