Ashland Progress 
George Washington Robertson, 75, died at his home on Garfield Heards farm a mile 
and a half west of town at 4:30 this Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be 
conducted from New Harmony church near Cragford by the Rev. Mr. Bean, of 
Lineville, Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Quattlebaum will direct burial in 
the New Harmony cemetery. Survivors include the widow; five sons: John and Ellis, 
of Pisgah, Ala., Togo, of Roanoke, Jim, of Lineville, and Tommy, of Cragford; and 
four daughters: Mrs. H. H. Garrett, of Lineville, Mrs. G. B. Lester, of Pisgah, 
and Mrs. J. G. Heard and Mrs. D. B. House, of Roanoke.
