Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Lula Peek Robertson, 79, widow of the late G. W. Robertson, passed away at 5 
p. m. May 13 at the home of her son John at Henegar, Ala, Survivors include nine 
children: John of Henegar, Ellis of Valley Head, Togo of Rock Mills, Tommie of 
Rt. 1 Lineville, Jim of Henegar, Mrs. G. B. Lester of Pisgah, Mrs. H. H. Garrett 
of Scottsboro, Mrs. J. G. Heard of Roanoke, and Mrs. D, B. House of Roanoke; 28 
grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from New 
Harmony Church, Cragford, Ala., at 3:30 p. m. on Wednesday, May 14, with the Rev. 
Mr. Bean and the Rev. Mr. Martin officiating. Interment was in the churchyard 
cemetery, with Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Payne, Ala., in charge of funeral plans.
