Ashland Progress
Funeral services were held at Cragford on July 24th for Mr. J. W. Robertson, who 
died at his home on the 23rd. The service was conducted by Rev. S. C. Ray, after 
which interment was in the Cragford cemetery. Blair was in charge. The deceased 
was 72 years of age and is survived by two sons, A.S. Robertson of Elba and R. B. 
Robertson of Ashland, and five daughters, Mrs. W.A. Cole and Mrs. M. D. Amason of 
Cragford, Mrs. W. V. McLain and Mrs. T. O. McMath of Malone Route 1, and Mrs. R. 
E. McLain of Birmingham. Pallbearers were A.S. Robertson, R. B. Robertson, W. S. 
Cole, M. D. Amason, T. O. McMath, and W.V. McLain.
