Ashland Progress
Mr. Will Robertson, age 67, passed away at his home here, Thursday, Dec. 14th. He 
was a friend to all and will be greatly missed in our community. He is survived 
by his wife, Mrs. Annie Robertson, Ashland, Route and one sister, Mrs.
Kellum, of Alexander City. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. C. Ray at 
Motley. Interment was in the nearby cemetery with Blair directing. Friends of 
this community attending the funeral were Mr. Wess Gillam, Mr. and Mrs. John 
Davis, Mr. Seab Wheeles, L.J. Smith, Grady Wheeles, Russell Smith, Mrs. Wilfred 
Carr and little Mrs. Clyde Gill, Mrs. Lee Smith and Mrs. Dave Powell.
