Bennett Garrett Rogers. 71, died Wednesday morning at his home in Delta after a 
lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services will be tomorrow at 
Mt. Moriah Church near Delta, Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. 
Rogers is survived by one son, Clarence Rogers, eight daughters. Mrs. Ruth 
Sparks, Mrs. Inez Mills, Mrs. Bessie Clark of Delta, Mrs. Leslie Haynie of Fort 
Lauderdale, Fla. Mrs. Clyde Smith of La Grange, Ga., Mrs. Audrey Clark of Delta. 
Mrs. Bertha Shaddix of Anniston and Mrs. Wiley Sprayberry of Delta,
