Our Mountain Home
News was received in Talladega on Tuesday morning of the death of J. L. Russell, 
which occurred Monday near Collinsville. The remains will be shipped to Talladega 
and conveyed to his old home at Hatchett Creek in Clay County. Until last May Mr. 
Russell resided North of the city, when his wife died, and he removed to North 
Alabama to reside with relatives. He was 75 years of age and a tine type of 
manhood.
