Lineville Headlight
Mrs. Edna Ann Ham Sewell died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. A. Dunn, 
Friday morning, May 26th. Although she had been in ill health for many months, 
her death came as a shock to her many friends in Lineville. She was born in 
Elberton, Ga. Jan. 15, 1835, and at the time of her death was 81 years of age. 
While a young girl she united with the Methodist church and was a consistent 
member at the time she was called from earth to Heaven. She was the mother of 
seven children, five of whom survive her. Funeral services were conducted from 
the home of her daughter Mrs. S. A. Dunn, Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock. 
Fitting remarks were made by Rev. W. W. Crymes. Her remains were tenderly laid to 
rest in the Lineville Cemetery to await the resurrection morning.
