Lineville Headlight
The death angel visited the home of Mrs. Shaddix Sunday morning Aug. 16h and took 
as its victim Uncle Greenberry Shaddix who was seventy-three years old. He was a 
member of the Baptist Church at Union and was a lover and teacher of the good old 
Sacred Harp Music. Ha lived a quiet and peaceable life, always ready to help 
others he has hone to reap his reward and meet his loved ones gone before, and to 
hear that welcome applause enter in through the pearly gates to rest from the thy 
labors forever and ever. Wife, children, grandchildren and friends strive to meet 
him in Heaven. It's a glorious thought that if he can't come back to us, we can 
meet him and all the Saints and live where parting known no more.
