L.F. Ellen and the Rev. Joseph Ray officiating. Burial will be in Concord Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Shaddix died Sunday in a Pell City hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Martha S. Sims of Bynum and Mrs. Erma Ellen of Cropwell three sons, Ruben J. Shaddix and Hugo L. Shaddix, both of Cape Canaveral, Fla. and Billy B. Shaddix of Oxon Hill, a sister, Mrs. Erma Marshall of Cottonwood; two brothers, Harry T. Duncan of Concord, and Raymond L. Duncan of Maryville, 15 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Lipham, Billy Reid, Phil Vera, Sam Walker, Jimmy Kilgore and Gene Kilgore. Honorary pallbearers will be the men's Sunday School class of Bynum Baptist Church. Mrs. Shaddix was a native of Clay County and had resided in Bynum 36 years. She was a charter member and the oldest member of Bynum Baptist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home through services.
