Lineville Headlight
Was born Dec. 24th, 1834. Departed this life Dec. 30th, 1927, At the age of 92 
years, five days. Was married to Sallie C. Stephens Feb. 14th, 1856, he is 
survived by two sons, three daughters, grand children great-grandchildren, and a 
host of friends to mourn his departure. He was made a master mason at Hardy 
Howle Lodge No. 459 in the year 1898, he was a consistent member, walking the 
distance of five or six miles to attend his lodge meetings as long as his health 
would permit. Resolved 1. That the lodge extends its sympathy to his immediate 
relatives who are most heart stricken, we have nothing of this worlds 
consolation to offer, we can only sincerely, deeply and most affectionately, 
sympathize with them in their bereavement and commend them to the infinite 
father who looks down with compassion on the fatherless. Res 2nd that a copy be 
sent to the bereaved family. Res. 3rd that a copy be sent to the Lineville
