Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Jones Funeral Home 
for Henry Thompson Shaw, age 70 who died suddenly with a heart attack Saturday 
afternoon at his shoe shop on West 15th Street. Officiating at the service was 
the Rev. O. D. Waits. Interment was conducted in the Delta Cemetery with Jones in 
charge. Surviving are two sons Acton Shaw. Tallapoosa Ga., and Golden Shaw. 
Delta, two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Lumpkin and Mrs. Donnie Freeman, both of 
Delta; one brother William Shaw, German, Texas, and four sisters Mrs. Emma Moore 
Delta, Mrs. D. S. Boone, Birmingham, Mrs. Ella Davis Bremen, Ga, and Mrs. Fannie 
Brooks, Phenix City, Ala.
