Anniston Star
Michael Roy (Mike) Shaw, 16, of Anniston, Rt. 4, died Sunday in Jacksonville 
after an automobile accident. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at 
Gray Brown-Service chapel with the Rev. Harvey Brown officiating. Burial will be 
in Good Hope Cemetery, Clay County. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Leroy Shaw; two brothers, Tommy Shaw and Ricky Shaw, both of Anniston, Rt. 4; a 
sister, Mrs. Sharon Scoggins of Blue Mountain and his grandmother, Mrs. Stella 
Salers of Delta. He was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and an 
eighth-grade student at Saks High School. The body will remain at the funeral 
home through services.
