Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mr. Billy Lark (Buster) Nichols, Lineville Rt. 2, were held 
at Concord Baptist Church, Nov. 15th at 2 o'clock p.m., with Rev. Bud Mitchell 
and Rev. J. R. Brown officiating. Interment was in adjacent cemetery, directed by 
Blair Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Floyd Hill, Lewell Shirey, Sherrill Shirey, 
Oscar Brand, James Shirey and George Shirey.  Mr. Nichols passed, away at his 
home in the Shirey Mill Community on Nov. 14th at the age of 57. He is survived 
by his wife, Mrs. Zolema Nichols; one son Howard Wesley Nichols, Lineville Rt. 2; 
two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Irvin, Chandler Springs and Mrs. Rosa Lee Currins, 
Bessemer.
