Services for eight-month-old Allison Lynn Shirey of Talladega were today at 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville with Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial 
was in Fairview Cemetery. The infant died Sunday at Children's Hospital in 
Birmingham. Survivors include her parents, Rodney and Christy Shirey of 
Talladega; three stepsisters, Amy and Felica Shirey of Talladega; a stepbrother, 
Rodney Shirey of Talladega; and his grandparents, Katherine and Bill McCollum of 
Lineville, Bell Gill of Lineville, Troy and Ida Mae Shirey of Talladega; and 
great-grandmother, Willie Mitchell of Talladega. Pallbearers were Donnie Shirey, 
Troy Nichols and Jeff Paris. The infant was a Talladega native.
