Thomas G. Shirley. 43. died Friday at his home after lengthy illness. Funeral 
services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Olive Branch Baptist Church with the 
Revs. A. A. Jacobs. Charles Johnson and R. E. Brooks officiating. Burial will 
follow in the church cemetery with Blair Brown-Service in charge. Mr. Shirley 
leaves his wife. Mrs. Mary Bernice Shirley; a son Tommy Shirley, a daughter. 
Evelyn Shirley, all of Pell City; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Shirley, 
address unavailable: and three sisters. Mrs. Hazel Jones. Mrs. Marie Hammock and
