Services for Mrs. Cleo Graben Sides, 78, of Birmingham, were Saturday at 
Barfield Baptist Church near Lineville with the Rev. Ronald McKeever 
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Jackson Funeral Home in 
charge. Mrs. Sides died Thursday at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in 
Birmingham. Survivors include her husband, John E. Sides of Birmingham; a son, 
Jim T. Sides of Pineville, La; a daughter, Mrs. Joan S. Dyer of Birmingham; 
three brothers Lewis Graben, John Graben and Conrad Graben, all of Lineville; 
two sisters, Mrs. Irene Sides of Birmingham and Mrs. Mary Bowen of Fayetteville, 
N.C.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sides was a Clay 
County native and a Birmingham resident most of her life. She was a member of 
Central Park Baptist Church in Birmingham.
