Anniston Star
Funeral services for George R. Sims, 60-year-old resident of Delta, Rt. l. were 
held Tuesday morning. Mr. Sims. died at his residence early Monday. Services were 
conducted at Campground Church by the Rev. John Ingram and interment was at the 
church cemetery with Colonial Chapel charge. Survivors include: a son, Jesse M. 
Sims, and a daughter, Mrs. Eula Carvers both of Anniston; three grandchildren; 
one brother, Tom Sims, of Delta, and two sisters, Mrs. Siddy McDowell of Delta 
and Mrs. Bertha Cook, of Phil Campbell Ala.

Note: Campground is Black's Chapel Cemetery.
