Mrs. Clara Kennedy Smith 84 mother of Bob Lee Smith of Phenix City died Friday in 
Clay County Hospital in Ashland Ala. She was the wife of R. W. Smith Funeral was 
held at 2pm today at Bethany Primitive Baptist Church in Wadley. Also surviving 
are three daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Branch Langdale Ala., Mrs. Josie Raspberry 
Floralla Ala., Mrs. Ruby Bence Weaver Ala., and three other sons C. P. Smith and 
Noel Smith of Wadley Ala., and Leamon Smith of Cragford Ala., 15 grandchildren 
and two brothers.
