Funeral services for Wilbur T. Smith. 77. of Lineville who died Tuesday, will be 
held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Blair's Chapel with Raymond Elliott, 
minister, officiating. Burial will be in Lineville Cemetery. v Smith taught in 
Clay County Schools for 34 years and was a graduate of the old Lineville College. 
He also attended Howard College and contributed historical sketches of American 
statesmen to the Lineville Tribune. He was a member of the Lineville Church of 
Christ. Survivors include the widow. Mrs. Maude Hobbs Smith; two sons, Eldred of 
Lineville and Manon of Childersburg; two brothers, O. T. of Goodwater and E. G. 
of Sylacauga. Pallbearers will be Woodrow Bradford, Earl Lindsey. James Mitchell, 
Emyl Griffin, Harlis Adams and Howard Shults.
