Funeral services for James A. Smith, age 39, World War veteran, who died at his 
home Saturday, were held here at o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Ray 
officiated, and interment was in the Delta Cemetery, with Ursey Aninston in 
charge. Surviving are the widow, two brothers, J. W. Smith of Delta and M. A. 
Smith of Birmingham, and three sisters, Mrs. M. W. McCain, Flat Creek; Mrs. E.L. 
Owens, Lincoln; and Mrs. Horton Owens Birmingham.
