He was born March the 15th 1863 and was married to Miss Dink Clark in September 1881. To this union eleven children were born eight boys and three girls. Ten of these survive him besides a widow and three brother. He was a true member of the Methodist church and was loyal to his family, was also a member of the W.0.W. was in good standing. He had one son the border, who did not reach home in time to see. his father alive. His suffering was long, but he was conscious until just before death. He knew that death was at hand and seemed to be ready to so. Many friends and relatives share grief with the family. He was laid to rest by the W. 0. W. sovereigns in the presence of a host of friends and relatives at Pleasant Hill cemetery Friday, March 2nd. A Friend.
