A large log crushing his body. He was married to Ada Denham on Dec. 30, 1920. He leaves to mourn his loss, his devoted companion, one daughter, Linda, age nine, one sister, Mrs. A. J. Stanford; four brothers, Ellis, Grover, Clarence and Thesel besides a host of other relatives and friends. Grady served in World War I for 21 months, 13 months of which were spent overseas. After returning home from overseas he spent most of his time farming. Grady was upright, honest and truthful at all times. He was laid to rest on Thursday Feb. 28, at Shiloh with Rev. H. I. Tapley, S. C. Ray and W. B. Denney conducting. Pallbearers were I. B. Bradford, S. D. Young, W. W. Young, S. W. Brooks, W.L. Gibson, and Homer Thompson, with Blair directing.
