Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Spears, 90, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, who died Sunday 
night, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Delta Baptist Church in Clay County. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery, Blair Funeral Home in charge. Survivors 
include two sons, Arleen Spears of Wedowee and James Spears of Spartanburg, three 
daughters, Mrs. Lillie Cobb of Oxford, Rt. 6, Mrs. Clara Taylor of Trion, and 
Mrs. Ethel Bailey of Wedowee; a sister, Mrs. Lona Messer of Tarboro, N. S. V. 
Higginbotham of Oxford and Chess Higginbotham of Blue Mountain, 17 grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
