Jack D. Spencer, 77, died recently in Clay County Hospital after a long illness. 
Funeral services were held at Blair's Chapel with burial in the Pleasant Hill 
Cemetery with Blair Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. 
Lodie Pitts Spencer; one daughter, Mrs. Louis McCarron of Washington, D. C., and 
four sons Earl of Spokane, Wash., Ward. Herman and J. D., Jr., all of Waukegan, 
Ill.
