Anniston Star
Mrs. Nancy Sprayberry died at the age of 74 at the home, of her son, L. D. 
Sprayberry, at 1004 South Leighton Avenue at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning. She 
had been ill for several months. Funeral services will be conducted at the 
Providence Church in Clay County at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. 
Mr. Hammond and the Rev. Mr. Williamson officiating. Interment will be in the 
church cemetery, directed by Usrey. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. 
Sprayberry was a native of Clay County. She was ill abed when her daughter-in-
law, Mrs. L. D. Sprayberry, died recently. Surviving are four sons. L. D. and 
Anniston; Alexandria, and R. M. Lineville; four daughters, Mrs. Della Dial, 
Anniston; Mrs. Sallle Clark and Mrs. Beulah Short, Lineville, and Mrs. Leola 
Reynolds, Alexander City; a brother, R. M. Allen, Mississippi, and two sisters. 
Mrs. Emma Taylor, Anniston, and Mrs. Frank Hamlin, Delta.
