Anniston Star
Wiley Mancil Sprayberry, 69, of 607 Mimosa Drive, Anniston, died Sunday at 
Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. 
at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Clay County, with the Rev. Jerrold Allen, the Rev. 
W. E. Summerlin, and the Rev. Sherman Harper officiating. Burial will be in the 
adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include 
a sister, Mrs. Grace Shaddix of Anniston and two brothers, J. W. Sprayberry of 
Delta, and Walter W. Sprayberry of Jasper. Nephews will be pallbearers. Mr. 
Sprayberry was a native of Clay County and lived in Anniston 36 years. He was a 
retired employe of Sheem Manufacturing and member of Woodsmen of the World. The 
body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
