Dee Hurst, the Rev. Louis Bowen, the Rev. Bill Mitchell and the Rev. Wiley Sprayberry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until one hour prior to services. Mrs. Sprayberry died Saturday in Lineville Geriatric Center after a long illness. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Eva Key, Mrs. Irene Daugherty, Mrs. Visie Ingram and Mrs. Audean Miller, all of Delta, Mrs. Nettie Hudson and Mrs. Betty Mitchell, both of Lineville, and Mrs. Eunice Newell of Rossville, six sons, the Rev. Wallace Sprayberry, Vernon Sprayberry and Billy Sprayberry, all of Delta, Ellis Sprayberry of Temple, Loften Sprayberry of Panama City, and Loyal Sprayberry of Blairsville, a brother, Bowman Newell of Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Smith of Lanett and Mrs. Vera Smith of Wedowee; 35 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Sprayberry was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, a housewife, and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
