Moriah Baptist Church in Delta with the Rev. W.E. Summerlin, the Rev. Walley Sprayberry and the Rev. Dee Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. Sprayberry died Friday in Clay County Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Sprayberry of Delta; three daughters, Mrs. Geneva Taylor of Greenville, S.C. Mrs. Flossie Lozar of Grier, S.C, and Mrs. Nell Culbertson of Easley, S.C; five sons, Garrett Sprayberry of Lineville; Braxton Sprayberry and Dean Sprayberry, both of Randolph County and Fred Sprayberry of Delta; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Sprayberry of Delta, Mrs. Vera Smith of Wedowee and Mrs. Mae Smith of Talladega; two brothers, Bowman Newell of Rossville, Ga and Troy Newell of Henagar; 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Ingram, Roy Hudson, Emory Clark, Bill Mitchell, Billy Sprayberry and Jimmy Daugherty. Mrs. Sprayberry was a native of Clay County and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
