She was 66 years old and had been a faithful member of the Baptist church for 40 years. She was a good mother, a faithful wife and a kind neighbor. A precious one from you has gone, A voice you loved is stilled, A place vacant in your home, That never can be filled, God in his wisdom has recalled, The gift his love had given, Though the body molders low, The soul is safe in heaven. The funeral services were conducted by the writer. W. H. Preston.
