Leonard Franklin Stephens 55 died Wednesday night in an Atlanta hospital after an 
illness of several weeks Funeral services were held at 2 pm today in the First 
Methodist Church of Lineville Ala and burial was in the Lineville Cemetery. Mr. 
Stephens was an electrical appliance dealer in Ft. Valley to several years and a 
member of the First Methodist Church of Lineville. Survivors include his widow 
the former Miss Mary McCain of Ft. Valley one son Jimmy Stephens of Ft. Valley 
three sisters Mrs. Irene Harp of New Orleans La., and Mrs. Nora Williams of 
Atlanta and Mrs. Cora Temple of Hickory NC., and two brothers James F. Stephens 
of Atlanta and Gaither Stephens of Delta Ala.
