Delta, Rt. 1, died Thursday at Clay County Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church with Elder B. B. Finley officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Stephens, of Delta, Rt. 1. and five sons, Earnest Summerlin of Alvin, David Stephens of Oxford; Hilt Stephens of Anniston; Ralph Stephens of Panama City. Fla. Hubbard Stephens of the US Army Frankfurt, Germany a brother. Grady Braswell of Wedowee, Rt. eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will remain at the residence until shortly before time of the services.
