Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mrs. Fanny Stewart of Ashland Route, who died November 2nd 
at the home of Mrs. Buster Crawford, were held at Mt. Moriah on Wednesday, 
November 3rd. Interment was in Mt. Arat cemetery, directed by Blair, with Rev. 
Elmon Mattox officiating. Mrs. Stewart had passed the one hundredth birthday, 
would have been one hundred one had she lived until January 28th, 1955. She is 
survived by several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were James Stewart, Floyd 
Vaughn, Charlie Vaughn, Junior Stewart, Hubert Crawford, Garey Gortney.
