H. Goodman, B. B. Finley and Rev. E. G. Hutchens and Rev. James Stewart, Cleveland, Tenn. Interment was in adjacent cemetery. Active pallbearers were grandsons, A. B. Cofield, Roger Willis, Gene Gaither, James Stewart, Bob Stewart, Guy Cofield, Claude Merrell. Honorary pallbearers were Mesdames J. D. Jordan, Effie Harwell, O. K. Gaither, J. S. Gay W. L. Moore Corinne Glass, Messrs. D. W. Sparks, E. A. Anderson, Johnny Richardson, A.A. Burdette, Earl Reeves, W. V. Denney, Joe Tinney, Norward Denney, Tal Hardaman. Mrs. Stewart passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vergie White, with whom she had resided for several years, on Feb. 13th, after a lengthy illness. Survivors include six daughters Mrs. Roy Merrell, Bowdon, Mrs. William Cofield, Lineville; Mrs. Vergie White, Mrs. Dilford Gaither, Mrs. Malvern Willis, Ashland; Mrs. A.L. Ballard, Destin, Fla. Three sons, Pelham Stewart, Tifton, Truitt Stewart, Darien, Springs. One brother, Oscar Stewart, Greenwood, S. C. One sister, Mrs. John Yates, Lineville.
