Anniston Star
Earl Schoggins Stewart, 75, of Ashland, died today. Funeral services will be at 2 
p.m. Tuesday at the Lystra Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Knight and Judge 
W. B. Nolen officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery Blair Brown-
Service Funeral home in charge. Survivors, include three daughters, Mrs. Edmond 
Jones, Mrs. Marie Morris and Mrs. Janie Alexander, all of Ashland; two sons, 
Ruford Stewart of Talladega and Byron Stewart of Anniston; a brother, Hugh V. 
Schoggins of Talladega; and 16 grandchildren.
