Anniston Star
 Curtis Lee Stewart, 77, of Ashland, died Monday at his residence after a short 
illness. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lystra Baptist Church with the, 
Rev. Grady Birchfield and the Rev. W. E. Maddox officiating. Burial will be in 
Clay County Memory Gardens with Blair Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Adell P. Stewart; two sons, James E. Stewart of 
Ashland, and Curtis Lee Stewart, Jr. of Talladega; five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Sheppard and Mrs. Lucille Willis, both of Birmingham; Mrs. Maggie Ray of Winter 
Garden, Fla., Mrs. Elsie Thomas of Sun City, Calif., and Mrs. Annie Jo 
Greathouse of Dallas, Tex., three brothers, Wilburn J. Stewart of Lebanon, Mo., 
T.J. Stewart of Clanton, and J. R. Stewart of San Antiono Tex., four 
grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be R.A. Griffin John 
D. Glenn, L. G. Barrett, Huey Barrett, Jimmy Mackie and James Crawford. The body 
will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
